Jazz Guitarist Derek Duleba performs and teaches in the Chicagoland area. He is an active member of the Chicago jazz community, performing throughout the city at venues like Chicago Symphony Center, Jay Pritzker Pavilion, The Green Mill, and The Jazz Showcase.

 

Derek has shared the stage with many Chicago jazz luminaries including Jeremy Kahn, Dan Trudell, Chris Foreman, Art Davis, Russ Phillips, Eric Schneider, and Andy Schumm among others.

Derek is a former student of renowned guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque. While earning a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from Northern Illinois University, he also completed an undergraduate certificate in Philosophy of Education studying eastern philosophy and its integration with education.
